Colosseum in Stavanger
The exhibition ”Colosseum in Stavanger” by Geir Egil Bergjord opened at Stavanger train station Thursday 11. December. This is the second Rom for kunst (Room for Art) exhibition at Stavanger train station.
Geir Egil Bergjord presents a large scale photo on the façade; of the Colosseum in Rome taken through a tram window after heavy rainfall in April 2005.
Geir Egil Bergjord has exhibited both in Norway and internationally. He focuses his work on photography and the relationship between the private life in the home and that of public institutions and monuments. Geir Egil Bergjord lives and works in Stavanger.
