Behind the façade
The light installation ”Behind the façade” can be seen on the façade of Oslo Central Station from the 8. January 2009.
The installation is made by light designer Kurt Hermansen, and is the result of NSB and ROM eiendom´s wish to present the orginally dark façade in a better light through the darkest period of the year. The installation has been presented yearly since 2005.
Kurt Hermansen has worked as a light designer with theatre, dance performances and exhibitions. He has also made severeal art projects whith light.
