Dolk and Pøbel
Rom for Kunst presents two of Norway’s leading street artists: Dolk and Pøbel “Rom Eiendom AS is pleased to present new and older works by Dolk and Pøbel in Oslo and Trondheim in the period May to September 2010. The work represents the highlights of both artists’ production, and also several works specially created for this exhibition.” Signe Horn, Director of Public Relations and Communication in Rome Eiendom AS.
Eye to eye by Bryant Austin
Eye to eye with the world’s largest animal: See the world’s largest whale picture at Oslo S! Bryant Austin is the only photographer in the world who has taken on the challenge of showing the largest animal on the planet, the whale, in life size photographs. His most recent work was photographing a whole adult minke whale. This picture will now adorn the front facade of Oslo’s central station, Oslo S, for a month. Presenting the exhibition in Norway are: Dyrebeskyttelsen Norge, NOAH-for dyrs rettigheter and World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) – in collaboration with Rom for Kunst.

The light installation ”Behind the façade” can be seen on the façade of Oslo Central Station from the 8. January 2009.
Constellar Cities by Yana Kehrlein
The art of engineering is the focus point for Rom for Kunst in 2009. This year’s fall project features, for the first time in Norway, the French artist Yana Kehrlein. With his series Constellar Cities, Kehrlein approaches the theme with a grand challenge of the perspective.
Colosseum in Stavanger
The exhibition ”Colosseum in Stavanger” by Geir Egil Bergjord opened at Stavanger train station Thursday 11. December. This is the second Rom for kunst (Room for Art) exhibition at Stavanger train station.
Advent Calendar 2008: ”Zofies verden” recycled
This years Advent Calendar is made by the creators of comic series ”Zofies verden” (Zofies World). From the 1. to the 24. December, a new comic strip will be presented in large scale format at Oslo Central Station and at Trondheim Train Station.
Homey Trondheim
The exhibition ”Homey Trondheim” consists of six video works by young artists connected to the region, and of the photo series ”Domestic landsacapes” by Una Line Ree Hunderi.
Private Life
“Private Life” (Privatlivets fred) is an art project concerning private integrity and freedom. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with Datatilsynet (The Data Inspectorate), Kunst i offentlige rom Public Art Norway (KORO) and Rom for kunst, and presents four artworks with privacy as a theme. The presented works have been chosen after a competition for artists held during the spring of 2008. The jury´s comments are available here.
PLAY I and PLAY II
The exhibition PLAY I and PLAY II by Natasja Askelund opened at Stavanger train station Friday 20. June at 14.00. This is the first Rom for kunst (Room for art) exhibition at Stavanger train station. Rom for kunst was established in Oslo in 2001 and was extended to Trondheim train station in 2007.
Take a deep breath
The exhibition ”Take a deep breath” by Torunn Skjelland opened on the 19. June at Oslo Central Station. Torunn Skjelland was invited by Rom for kunst to create an exhibition on the themes climate, responsibility and awareness during three summer months at Oslo Central Station.
Pilgrim
The artist Thomas Håkki Eriksson has been on a pilgrimage from Sundsvall, Sweden to Trondheim, Norway. The art project ”Pilgrim” conserns themes as travelleing and meetings with the unknown.
The Opera
Artist Katja Høst har created a sculptural installation with photos from the old Opera-building in Oslo. for The exhibition is presented at Christian Frederiks plass on the south side of Oslo Central Station.
Arctic technology
Rom for kunst presents Arctic Technology, a series of photographs by Christian Houge. Different images will be exhibited concurrently at Oslo Central Station and Trondheim Central Station.

The light installation ”Behind the façade” can be seen again on the façade of Oslo Central Station from the 11. January 2008.
Future Oslo Advent Calendar
This years Advent Calendar at Oslo Central Station is the image “Future Oslo” created by the German artist group eBoy. The image, which portrays a vision of Oslo 10 years from now, is exhibited on the stations west façade. Everyday between the 1st and 24th December a new element is added either on the façade or in the station area. Added elements are “people” from the eBoy-universe, designed in their characteristic pixel style with a sense of fun.
Fußball : Football by Harun Farocki
The exhibition Fussball:Football by Harun Farocki opens on 13th of October, at Oslo S 13.00 and at the Museum of Contemporary Art at 15.00. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
Snakk med meg
Jason Havneraas lives and works in Trondheim but does not speak Norwegian. With the help of teacher Siri Gjære the artist intends to learn the language during a four week period. Lessons take place in the public area of Trondheim railway station (10.09.- 05.10.2007, Mon-Fri 11.00-14.00). We urge the public of Trondheim to participate in this event by stopping by and talking to the artist.

Waiting time by Katinka Maraz
Room for Art at Oslo S has the pleasure of inviting you to the opening of the Advent Calendar 2006 which has been created by Katinka Maraz. RØDE SAUER (The Influence of Us)
In this project, Marte Aas seeks to problematize representation critical and sex political issues on the basis of a desire to write girls into history and thus create a separate historical identity. The exhibition opens October 12th with a concert by Røde sauer (Red sheep).

The People’s Heroes at Oslo S
The G.U.N. Ladies present Folkets Helter at Oslo S. June 15th, the project Folkets Helter will be opened on the façade of Oslo S. The project will be on exhibition until the middle of August.
Ibsen in ample skirt at Oslo S
On the façade of Olso S, Steffen Kverneland’s caricatures of Henrik Ibsen will be presented in giant format. This will probably be the most informal Ibsen exhibition during the Ibsen Celebration 2006.
The Advent Calendar 2005
In 2005, The Advent Calendar at Oslo S appeared in a totally new form and therefore changed its name to Julekalenderen på Oslo S. The artist Ingrid Toogood Hovland was given the assignment of designing this year’s calendar.
